develop your game

train. develop, achieve.

Three pathways from a child's first ball through to elite junior development. Whatever stage you're at, there's a way to get better here.

training at WBA

Three pathways. One commitment to development.

Whether your child is touching a basketball for the first time at five, or chasing junior representative selection at fifteen, we run programs that meet them where they are. Coaching is structured, age-appropriate, and grounded in our Behavioural Framework — skill development paired with character development.

behavioural framework

How we train, compete, and treat each other.

Skill is half of it. Character is the other half. Every program at WBA — from a five-year-old's first dribbling drill to a representative academy session — is delivered through our Behavioural Framework. It applies to coaches, players, parents, and officials equally.

01

Respect

For coaches, teammates, opponents, officials, and the game itself. No exceptions.

02

Effort

Show up ready. Train at the level you want to play at. The work is the reward.

03

Belonging

Everyone has a place here, regardless of skill, background, or how long they've been playing.
