WBA is an Incorporated Association under Victorian legislation, with a Board of Directors elected by our members at the Annual General Meeting. Our operations are guided by a formal constitution and a comprehensive strategic plan covering 2023 to 2028.

The Board provides strategic direction for the association — covering the conduct, encouragement, promotion, and administration of basketball throughout Gippsland, Baw Baw Shire, and surrounding areas. Board members serve to ensure the association remains operationally and financially viable while delivering on our vision to provide high-quality and inclusive basketball experiences.

Our affiliations with Basketball Victoria and Basketball Australia ensure we operate to industry best practice, provide access to state and national pathways for our players, and maintain the highest standards of basketball administration and delivery.
