A new comp where teams of mates, partners, and colleagues play together — one weeknight, properly refereed, with the same standards as our existing senior comps.
Senior Mixed is exactly what the name suggests — a mixed competition where every team must field a mix of male and female players, with a minimum of two female players on court at all times.
It sits alongside our existing Senior Domestic competitions for players who want something more social, less rigid, and inherently inclusive. One grade, no Mens-vs-Womens split, and a season pace that suits people with full-time jobs, families, and weekends already booked.
The only thing we need before locking in a start date is enough team interest. If that's you — or even if you're an individual still hunting for a team — the form below puts you on the launch list.

01 When will Senior Mixed actually start?
We are targeting the 2026/27 season, with the start date locked in once we have enough team interest. Register your interest below and we will email you the moment the season is confirmed.
02 What is Senior Mixed basketball?
A mixed senior competition where teams must field a mix of male and female players (a minimum of 2 female players on court at all times). It is a single grade, social-competitive in feel, and runs alongside our existing Senior Domestic competitions.
03 Who can play?
Anyone aged 18+. All skill levels are welcome — from complete beginners to former competitive players. The grading process is internal once teams are entered, so all teams play opponents at a similar level.
04 Do I need a full team to register?
Not at all. Register your interest below and tell us whether you are forming a team or looking to join one. We will help match individuals with team captains who are still recruiting.
05 How much will it cost?
Indicative pricing is around $180 per team per season, plus the standard Basketball Victoria Annual Player Licence (APL) for individual players. Final pricing will be confirmed before registration opens.
06 Where will games be played?
All home games will be at Warragul Leisure Centre (WARLC). Specific game night and time will be confirmed as the season firms up.
